Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and versatile individual to join our culinary team as a Preparation Chef who will also assume the role of a Station Chef during regular service hours. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional culinary skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This role requires expertise in both prepping ingredients and executing dishes on the line, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation.

Ensure the freshness, quality, and accuracy of prepped ingredients to meet the standards set by the executive chef or sous chef.

Food Preparation:

• Be responsible for all preparations and maintaining a well-stocked pantry.
• Follow established recipes, portion sizes, and presentation guidelines to ensure consistency.
• Be responsible for cleanliness of kitchen surfaces and equipment.

Station Chef:

• Take charge of a specific station during regular service hours, such salads, starters and side dishes.
• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and customer preferences, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of food orders.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following proper sanitation and food safety protocols.

• Previous experience working as a prep chef or line cook in a professional kitchen.
• Solid understanding of food preparation techniques, knife skills, and culinary fundamentals.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
